The first day of SROSI on Sunday July 12th begins with an orientation and short faculty performance for the entertainment of participants and parents. Participants then go off to their auditions and first rehearsals, in order to get acquainted with their parts. Parents are invited to stick around and observe all day, this first day!

Now the real work begins! Beginning Monday, Participants entering grades 7-9 ('Morning Mangos') attend SROSI starting in the mornings, and are released at 3pm. Older students entering grades 10-12+ ('Afternoon Avocados') begin their session midday and are released at 5pm. This schedule stays consistent Monday thru Thursday July 16th.

On the last day (Friday July 17th), both age groups have a late start. The day is dedicated to soundchecks for all orchestras, activities, a pizza party, and then the finale concert for family and friends.
