Middle and high school band, orchestra, and choir students have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to have the full Seattle Rock Orchestra experience!

SRO Summer Intensive is open to students in middle and high school who play strings, woodwinds, brasswinds, orchestral percussion, and who sing.
Each SROSI session features three orchestras; one for students entering 7th, 8th & 9th grades, one for students entering 10th, 11th, & 12th grades, (as well as recent high school graduates), and a combined all-camp orchestra. Accomplished high school graduates may be eligible for our intern program.

All participants must be able to read music, and must have at least two years of experience in their school music program or with private lessons prior to the start of the program.

Summer Intensive participants:

-
Rehearse and perform songs from across pop and rock music history, including recent radio bangers and classic jams from the past.
-
Develop self-confidence, stage presence, and their unique artistic voice.
-
Work with outstanding local music educators, including Artistic Director & Founder Scott Teske, Music Director & Conductor Kim Roy, and other mentors from Seattle Rock Orchestra.
